Your behind-the-scenes recap of our investment team’s Investment Committee meeting.
There’s a lot that goes into a decision to add, trim, or exit holdings from our Titan managed stock portfolios. Even no action is a decision in our minds. Our team meets regularly to assess fundamental trends of our portfolio companies, the macro environment, current events/news, how that affects individual stocks, and how we should position the portfolios moving forward.
In old-school investment firms, it’s rare to get this type of direct access from the people managing the strategies, but we think that this is what a modern investment firm should do.
Now, there are some limitations with what we can and can’t share from a compliance perspective, but where possible, we’ll endeavor to give you front row seats to the deliberations, discussions and decisions around how the team is managing your money in Titan’s managed portfolios.
This week the team discussed:
The Federal Reserve’s recent meeting in Jackson Hole and how that’s impacting the markets
Nvidia* and how the team is evaluating an investment decision here
Portfolio positioning and how the team is managing risk across certain sectors.
Yours,
Clay
